Material Options
Selection of steel composition determines suitability for different indoor/outdoor environments and strength against wear-and-tear.
Zincanneal
Cost effective material for standard internal doorways. Ony suitable for internal application as it is prone to corrosion.
Stainless Steel
Suited for exterior application as it is resistant to corrosion. Has a smooth surface finish for premium aesthetic. Availavle in two grades of Stainless Steel: 304 and 316. These represent different mixtures of elements; 316 offers a greater resistance to corrosion.
Galvanised Steel
The strongest material among all compositional options and so offers the greatest resistance to impact damage and degradation to wear-and-tear over time. This makes it an excellent option for high traffic areas; it is also suited for exterior application as it is resistant to corrosion.
Frames Profiles

Double Rebate
A standard profile featuring rebates on either side permits single or interconnecting doors.
Double Rebate (Fire Rated)
A double rebated profile featuring a deep stop to support the resistance of fire passage.
Euroseal
Features an inset section inside the stop specially designed for fitting of a fire or acoustic seal.
Flat Cap
A completely flat profile often utilised alongside magnetic latches or for specialised pivot doors.
New Generation
A profile built with a return on either side for the plasterboard to sit inside.
Pivot
Features an inset midsection to permit the clearance of a pivot door swing.
Single Rebate
Features a single rebate for a minimalist aesthetic.

Our experienced team produces every frame with the acute attention to detail necessary for framing where small imperfections can affect functionality. This care extends to material compositional as all frames are built from high quality steel. The result is a selection of premium steel door frames with broad optionality in frame profile, wall type, and the steel grade / composition to match your project needs.
Backfilling Service
Select Pressed Metal Frames are tested and certified as part of complete Fire Doorsets and Acoustic Doorsets. Any rated doors (both fire-rated and acoustic-rated) require backfilling of frame with mortar or other certified material. This can be completed on-site during installation or may be completed as an optional extra during door frame production so as it arrives to you already filled. Speak to the Action team about this service.
Fire-Rated: With appropriate door leaf and hardware, capable of up to 2 Hours fire rating.
Acoustic Rating: With appropriate door leaf and hardware, capable of up to Rw 47 for a single door, Rw 42 for a pair door, and Rw 50 for interconnecting door.
